It's Catching!
I thought I wouldn't be attempting another tapestry this decade until I saw this great kit at the British Museum. It's perfect - lots of delicious colours, a great design and what sold it for me - is it is only 7 inches by 7 inches - whoopeee - I'll be able to do it on the way to work on the tube! What's more is it's by Grayson Perry depicting his 'childhood teddy bear and god of his imaginary world' named Alan Measles after the boy next door and the bout of measles he had in his childhood - marvellous!
The photograph does not do the kit justice, the colours are much more intense.

That is brill! Long live teddies! x x x
I've got one of these too!!!! Started off with good intentions and thought I wouldn't give up as it's so small but it's already fallen by the wayside, maybe i'll have a stitchy Christmas catch up!
Ah yes! It's teeny tiny! I had to go out and get a granny style magnifier/lamp, otherwise I would be cross-eyed by now! I do find the printed canvas confusing though, so I follow the chart, even that drives me a bit loopy because it is in black and White unlike Emily Peacock's wonderful colour chart. Looks like I might be joining you at Christmas time! X X X
